Your privacy is of great importance to us. We therefore comply with privacy laws. This means that your data is safe with us and that we always use it properly. In this privacy statement, we explain what we do with the information we learn about you.
Process order
When you place an order with us, we use your personal data to process it properly. This includes name and address details, billing address, email address, and telephone number. We may provide your personal data to our delivery service to have the order delivered to you.
We also receive information about your payment from your bank or credit card company. In addition to the previously mentioned personal data, this includes your payment details, IP address, and possibly your date of birth. This is necessary to process the payment and to issue any refunds.
Provide to third parties
To receive, process, and handle orders, we collaborate with a number of companies that receive your data. We have entered into data processing agreements with them in accordance with the GDPR, ensuring that data is well protected. Our regular partners are:

- Shopify (webshop software)
- Picqer (warehouse software)
- Exact Online (accounting software)
- MyParcel (PostNL shipping)

We would like to hear about your experience with Bath.&Living. Therefore, a few days after receiving the order, you will receive an invitation to write a review via Kiyoh. You will receive a single reminder.
Security
The security of personal data is of great importance to us. To protect your privacy, we exclusively use SSL-secured (Secure Sockets Layer) connections, which shield all information between you and our website when personal data is entered.
Create account
You can choose to create an account in our webshop so that you do not have to repeatedly enter your information. In your account, you can update information and view orders. Using your name and address details, billing address, telephone number, email address, and a username of your choice, we create an account that you can log into with a password of your choice. We do this based on your consent. We retain this information until the account is closed.
Provision to other companies or institutions
With the exception of the partners mentioned above, we will under no circumstances provide your personal data to other companies or institutions, unless we are legally obliged to do so (for example, if the police request it in case of suspected criminal activity).
Social media buttons are included in our webshop. The administrators of these services collect personal data through these buttons.
Cookies
Our webshop uses cookies. Cookies are small files in which we can store information so that you don't have to enter it repeatedly. They also allow us to see that you are visiting us again.
When you visit our webshop for the first time, we will display a message explaining cookies. We will ask for your permission to use these cookies.
You can disable the placement of cookies via your browser; however, some parts of our webshop may then not function properly.
Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics to track how visitors use our online store.We have entered into a data processing agreement with Google containing strict agreements regarding what they are permitted to track (in accordance with Google’s terms for data processing). We have not allowed Google to use the obtained Analytics information for other Google services.
Changes to this privacy statement
When our webshop changes, we naturally also have to update the privacy statement. Therefore, always pay attention to the date above and check regularly for new versions.
