The bathrobes in our range are from the brands Vandyck and Aquanova, both progressive brands in the field of bath textiles.
Aquanova excels at creating complete collections that combine seamlessly. The brand doesn't limit itself to bath textiles like bathrobes, towels, and bath mats. Bathroom accessories are also included.
Vandyck transforms bath textiles and bedding into true fashion items. New colors are regularly added to existing bathrobe lines, and Vandyck designs bathrobes with unique, modern prints each season. These colors and prints are also reflected in their towels and duvet covers.
Thick cotton bathrobe
With thick cotton bathrobes, you can't go wrong. Cotton is a natural material, making it highly breathable and absorbent. This is the perfect combination of properties for a thick bathrobe, whether you use it at home—for lounging or after a shower—or take it with you to the sauna. Thanks to its breathability and absorbency, you won't easily feel sweaty or clammy in a cotton bathrobe, despite the warmth it provides.
Cotton bathrobes from Vandyck
The bathrobe that stands head and shoulders above the rest in terms of thickness is the Vandyck Ranger A 470-gram/m² bathrobe. This is a wonderful unisex bathrobe made of 100% American cotton in a terry weave. The high quality of the American cotton ensures that the thick fabric of this bathrobe feels wonderfully soft and drapes beautifully. The Ranger bathrobe is also wonderfully long (reaching the calf), making it perfect for snuggling up on a cold day.
The other thick Vandyck bathrobes, made of 100% cotton, have a weight of 360 grams/m². The Prestige bathrobe with a shawl collar is made of soft velour cotton, just like the Rio bathrobe. However, it has a hood with a drawstring. For a more flecked look, choose the soft Kyoto bathrobe.
Cotton bathrobes from Aquanova
The 100% cotton bathrobes with a fine thickness from our Aquanova collection are the London bathrobe and the Sava bathrobe. For a soft, thick terry cloth of Egyptian cotton (420 grams/m²) choose the London bathrobe, which pairs perfectly with the London towels. The Sava bathrobe is made of organic cotton (400 grams/m²) with a terrycloth interior and an extra-soft velour exterior. Both bathrobes are suitable for both men and women.
Thick fleece bathrobe
The thick bathrobe with ultimate softness and suppleness comes from Aquanova: the Mya bathrobeThis is a very soft fleece bathrobe for men and women. Made of 100% polyester, it offers wonderful warmth and fullness, yet is lightweight and comfortable. It weighs just 280 grams/m². This thick fleece bathrobe is perfect for relaxing at home, but is probably less suitable for after a shower or in the sauna. This is because the material is less effective at absorbing moisture and allowing air to circulate.
Thick bathrobes with a mix of materials
A great mix of materials for a bathrobe is cotton, bamboo and polyester.Cotton provides strength, bamboo is even better at absorbing and wicking moisture than cotton, and polyester offers the advantage of softness and lightness. By combining these three, you benefit from the advantages of each material.
This blend of materials is also reflected in the modern Vandyck bathrobes: Chicago and Duchess. Both have a zipper to prevent the robes from falling open. Both soft bathrobes can be made more fitted.
